The last Integrated Energy Therapy® training I facilitated was a special one - quietly powerful in the way only an intimate circle can be. Several women gathered and as the facilitator, I was the ninth. 

• Some had received energy healing before, and some had not. 

• Some were familiar with metaphysical language, and some were encountering it for the very first time. 

• One had experience with sound healing. 

• One knew yoga. 

• One practiced other energy healing modalities.

• One regularly attended full‑moon women’s circles. 

• And three had no background in any of this.

And yet…they all arrived.

What was it that called them together? 

Was it the desire to finally step out of the old story that kept looping through their lives? 

Was it a subtle, persistent sense that something in their everyday experience was asking to shift? 

Or was it simply the quiet pull of their own inner knowing, guiding them toward a space where something true could be remembered?

Whatever the reason, the day unfolded as a beautiful, heartfelt gathering. Stories were shared. Wisdom surfaced. And often it was the simple recognition of themselves in another—the moment of “Oh, you too!”- that wove the invisible thread binding us together.

Structure of the Day

After we settled in, we began with an opening circle—each person sharing a bit about themselves. From there, I shared the history of Integrated Energy Therapy® and introduced the foundational principles of the work: how energy moves, how the body stores memory, and how the 12-Strand Spiritual DNA supports healing and expansion.

People often worry they need to “know something” before they arrive. They don’t. Everything is taught step by step, demonstrated, practiced, and supported. The energy itself does most of the teaching.

Energy Attunement

Each level of the Integrated Energy Therapy® system includes an energy attunement that works directly with the 12-Strand Spiritual DNA, activating, expanding, and realigning specific pairs.

At the Basic Level, the attunement focuses on the body’s cellular memory. It supports self‑healing by clearing old physical tension and emotional imprints stored in the cells, and then fills that space with a positive, empowering energetic imprint.

For many, this moment feels deeply spiritual. Some experience warmth or tingling. Some feel emotion rise and soften. Others feel a quiet spaciousness. And some feel very little in the moment but notice subtle shifts in the days that follow. 

Practice Time

With this new alignment in place, we moved into practice time—another meaningful part of the day. I demonstrated the hand positions and sequence, then guided everyone through offering their first session. No one is expected to “get it right.” The energy flows regardless of experience, confidence, or sensitivity.

Everyone partnered up. One person offered energy; the other received. Then they switched.

In this lineage, whenever you give a healing, you also receive one. The energy moves through you as it moves to the other. So each person received two back‑to‑back sessions—an experience that can open doors inside you that you didn’t even realize were waiting.

For some, this brought waves of emotion. For others, physical sensations—warmth, tingling, spaciousness. For others still, a deep quiet. A softening. A remembering.

What People Discover

Throughout the day, people realize:

• They can feel energy more easily than they expected  

• They don’t need special abilities—only willingness  

• Their intuition is more alive than they thought  

• It feels natural to offer healing  

• They are safe to soften, open, and be seen

By the end of the day, they were tired in the way one is tired after meaningful transformation—softened, opened, more themselves. And I was reminded once again what a privilege it is to witness someone return to the truth of who they are. There is something sacred about watching a person reconnect with their own wholeness.

No experience is ever needed for this work. Only willingness, presence, and the courage to show up.

And when a group gathers with that kind of sincerity, something beautiful always happens.

Meet Teresa

Teresa is the founder of The Centre for Energy Therapy, where she supports people in exploring the subtle energy system, reconnecting with themselves more deeply, and discovering what may become possible when we create space for something to shift.

A lifelong seeker with a deep curiosity about energy, consciousness and human potential, Teresa’s own experiences with energy work opened a doorway into extraordinary states of awareness and a desire to understand what exists beyond our everyday perception of ourselves and the world around us.

She is an Integrated Energy Therapy® Master Instructor and Reiki Master, with additional training in Access Bars®, chakra and aura work, and ongoing studies in Shamanic Energy Medicine.

Through individual and group energy sessions, IET® practitioner training and experiential offerings, Teresa creates spaces where people don’t have to force, strive or make anything happen. Instead, they are invited to relax, remain open and allow their own experience to unfold.

At the heart of her work is a simple belief: you already carry your own truth. Her role isn’t to tell you what your experience means, but to create the conditions for you to explore, experience and discover what resonates for yourself.
